Core Program for Individual Men and Women

Initial assessment - Individuals meet with both our Fitness Director and our Mental Health Professional to establish health goals and assess current levels of health, understand patterns of behavior that help and hinder their growth and performance, and look at time frames for accomplishing goals.

 

Weekly Program - Individuals will meet with our Fitness Director each week for a one half hour period at the Studio Fitness facility. The exercise component will focus on motivating individuals to push themselves beyond their comfort zones in a manner that is safe and effective. The ultimate goal is to give clients a better understanding of their bodies and what they are capable of and how exercise has a positive impact on their mental well being. All programs can accommodate both beginner and advanced levels of fitness.

 

Individuals will also participate in weekly individual half hour sessions with our Mental Health Professional, reviewing healthy living strategies and restructuring thought patterns negatively effecting their growth. Individual sessions can also include education on psychological trends, nutrition, self-care, and patterns of change.

 

IN ONLY ONE HOUR PER WEEK, YOU WILL PARTICIPATE IN A POWERFUL, HOLISTIC APPROACH TO HELPING YOU EVOLVE INTO YOUR BEST SELF!

 

Core Program for Individual Men and Women with Group Support

Initial assessment -Individuals meet with both our Fitness Director and our Group Facilitator to establish health goals and assess current levels of health, understand patterns of behavior that help and hinder their growth and performance, and look at time frames for accomplishing goals.

 

Weekly Program - Individuals will meet with our Fitness Director each week for a one-on-one half hour period at the Studio Fitness facility. The exercise component will focus on motivating individuals to push themselves beyond their comfort zone in a manner that is safe and effective. In addition to the exercise sessions, individuals will participate in a ninety minute weekly support group. We will begin the group format with a meditative or journaling activity followed by individual check-ins. The bulk of the group will be discussion based on highlighted issues, previous reading material, education, health nutrition and support.

Couples Program

Initial assessment The Couples assessment is similar to the individual initial assessment, but the focus accommodates both individual goals and goals as a couple. The philosophy behind the couples work is “those that play together stay together.” Of course, it’s not that easy, but we believe working together in health goals contributes strongly to healthy, intimate relationships. Elements of cooperation, communication and trust are weaved throughout the health goals to strengthen the couples’ relationship.

   

Weekly Program - Couples will meet with our Fitness Director each week for one hour period at the Studio Fitness facility. The focus of the work will be establishing teamwork and communication while accomplishing their individual fitness goals.

 

In addition to the exercise sessions, couples will participate in a one hour weekly therapy session. These sessions will concentrate on processing team work, communication, couple dynamics, and building strong core foundations within the relationship.

 

ONLY TWO HOURS A WEEK TO DEVELOP HARMONY IN YOUR HEALTH AND RELATIONSHIP!

 

Wellness Goals

 

The motivation of our program is two-fold:

  • helping people identify the behaviors creating negative patterns in their life, and
  • empowering them to change.

 

The process of the program is to identify the negative patterns and life choices, release these identified behaviors, create new ways of being and set into place a sustainable action plan for healthy living. Throughout this process, Vita Sana provides the support of a caring personal trainer and an experienced psychotherapist assuring your health goals become a reality!
